3 week stall is wearing on me...
I am on my second 10 day stall and exercise seems to help push through. I had a bad gout flare last week that made me stop walking and working out plus some cortisone shots. I am back on plan for working out and hopefully that will kick start the loss.

Stalls are your body's way of telling you not to get too cocky.

When I had my three-week stall, I totally stalled for THREE whole weeks starting at that three-week mark. It was awful!
I knew I was following my surgeon's plan, but the scale didn't budge. I was ready to toss it out the window!
Then I had the ingenious idea of taking my measurements. Hubby and I had recorded my pre-op measurements. In MFP, I am tracking measurements for: neck, bust, under the bust, waist, hips, upper thigh, knee, calf, ankle, upper arm, elbow and wrist.
So we got out the measuring tape. I found that I had lost more than 12 inches in those three weeks! While the scale wasn't moving an ounce, SOMETHING was definitely happening. I still track these measurements. To date, I have lost 64 inches in total.
I recommend that you have another method or two of tracking your progress, not just the scales. Try on some clothing; you may see a big difference. Or take your own measurements for future tracking purposes when the next stall hits. You never know when you will want to compare!
My advice: just hang in there. Keep following your plan and trust the process. It works. You too will get there.

the best thing you can do is get rid of the scale!
Am 13 yrs out, still at my ideal weight, well actually 10 below.
I can't remember how many plateaus I hit.
Your body has to get used to running on minimum food intake.
Basically it runs on stored fat cells.
Just remember to drink water and forget the scale.
Much love
