Leaving Soon...

It is now 4am and I have been awake since 1am as I can't sleep.  I am super nervous for surgery and have even had dry heaves this morning.  I am really second guessing what I am doing.  I keep reading what people have said on this site and am hoping I am one that will have no regrets.  I even went to the RNY boards to read about how happy people are after they had surgery.  I am trying to stay positive as I trust my surgery team but I am scared to death.  Taxi will be here in 40 minutes to take me to the hospital.  YIKES.

It's so natural to be scared. Many of us have been there. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you WILL come out on the other side having gotten through it all.

Congrats on your Sleeve Day! It's a wonderful day for you! Good luck. May the surgery go smoothly and please report back on how you're doing when you're able.

We've all been there -- and now we're sitting on the loser's bench, as you will be as well! Good luck!

I almost crawled off the table as they were wheeling me to surgery!  Just keep breathing deep and know that this is the right thing!

It's so absolutely normal to be nervous. You got this , you can do it. I'm still waiting my turn and I imagine I'll feel the same as you come surgery day. Congratulations on your day finally arriving. I look forward to following your progress. :-)
