I am 4 weeks post op and 2 weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with a burning sensation in both my hips.  Not sure if it is just an after effect of surgery or something more serious.  Any one else experience this?

I get the same feeling. Before surgery I had it in the right hip a lot when standing for a long time. That is one reason I wanted surgery as I was unable to stand for long periods of time without pain. I had a MRI and it showed a nerve being pinched a little.  After surgery I had the burning feeling really bad on both hips sometimes so bad it woke me up.  After about a month the burning has gone away.
