Supplement alternative to PPI

I haven't been prescribed a PPI, nor have I asked my surgeon for one however I'm pretty sure I am going to have to ask at my next visit which is two weeks from now.  I prefer to be on supplements rather than pharmaceutical drugs so if there is an alternative to prescription/OTC PPIs that you have used would you kindly share that with me so I may discuss it with the doctor?

Thanks for your support!

Yes, Spencerella (Linda) posted something about an herbal supplement to use in place of PPIs just yesterday.

Chia seeds can be used for acid reflux.

You take a tsp of dry seeds, give about 5 min for them to work their way down, then drink a glass of water.  The seeds "bloom" and soak up the stomach acid, and are filled with nutritional benefits, too.
