Drinking fluids
So I had surgery on Tuesday, things are going pretty well. I don't really have a an appetite but the. Dr said that's normal. the one thing I'm concerned about is I heard the to much fluids can stretch your stomach. Has anyone else heard this? Any words of wisdom to prevent it? I'm taking small sips of water through the day and there aren't any problems so I got concerned
Fluids will not stretch a properly functioning stomach as they pass freely through an open pyloric valve.

Fluids won't stretch it. Eventually you'll be able to guzzle water just fine. Go slow in the beginning or you're going to see tha****er on the upside.

my surgeon said the first week or so you needed to stretch you stomach a little to get it working right , when it feels pressure it sends hormones to the brain tell it your full
after the surgery it sort of needs to be inflates into shape
you will not hurt your sleeve by sipping water , it will go one way or the other if you drink to much to fast
