Anyone have any tips on taking Omneprazole

Is it a capsule or a tablet?  If it's a capsule, you don't need to break it open. You can swallow it whole.

It is a capsule but they told me to break it open and put it over something.  I cannot tell you how gross it is :( Thanks!

My doc also said we had to crush or open meds for 6 weeks. And yes the Omeprazole is just horrid. I did change to Nexium, more tolerable, but my copay was $40.00. Worth it to me.

Try the greek yogurt, I mixed the beads with a tablespoon and I could feel them, but it was thick enough that I didn't have a problem.
