Well I made it home after almost 96 hours of being gone in the hospital and having surgery. It is so nice to be home.

Well the trip home was okay with no real problems other than being very crowded in the airplane and bus taking us here and there.

My wounds are healing fine and look good. I can handle about 3 or 4 teaspoons of liquid before it feels full, no hunger pains but have been having gas the last few days but nothing thing major.

I all the cost was just over $7000 out of pocket. I cant say enough about how great the staff and doctors were at Mexico Bariatric Center with Dr. Lopez.

I hope to give a full detail of the trip soon but not right now ( not up to it).

No vomiting but have had a few times where I drank to much and paid the price.

Welcome back!

I would caution you to make sure that you measure out everything you eat.  The nerves in your stomach have been severed, and you won't be able to feel any restriction reliably until you heal.  It usually takes between 5-8 weeks for the healing process.  Everything in your new stomach is swollen and sensitive right now.  Make sure you drink small sips as often as possible right now. Stay hydrated.  I loved sugar free popsicles during this time, but they would almost melt before I could finish one.

Glad to hear that your experience was so positive.  The price was considerably cheaper than what you'll pay in the U.S.  Keep up the good work
