Frustrated with my weight >:(

I had my surgery exactly a month ago today. For the past week and a half I haven't lost a single pound :( I know it's normal but it's really discouraging. Did anyone else have this long of a stall? What did you do to help jumpstart the weight loss again? I've been following my diet very religiously so I know it's not because I'm eating bad. I'm still waiting for clearance to do more than just walking on a treadmill at the gym since I don't want to stress my body or hurt my stomach. Any suggestions to get the weight loss going again?

I feel like I've been stalled for the entire month of October.

There's nothing you can do to "jumpstart" the weight loss.  Stick to your plan, make sure you're getting ALL of your liquids in, and the weight will start to come off again.  And a year from now you won't even remember that you stalled for a week or a month.  Because life will be awesome.  :)

October has sucked for me too as far as weight loss!!  I am so disappointed, but trying to look at big picture.  I am so thankful for how much weight I've lost and proud of how far I've come, but dammit that scale needs to start moving again!

Thank you! I know eventually the weight will start to come off again, but it's just so annoying haha.

It is annoying.  I agree!  I use Trendweight.com to track my weight and that helps me a lot, since, even during a stall, I can tell that my trend is going in the right direction.

Normal for the process. Stick to your plan. Good luck.

I feel like I've been stalled the entire month of October too.  Just stick to plan, and we'll all get through this!

If you're following your diet very religiously as you say, then the best advice I can give you is BE PATIENT.  The numbers on your scale will eventually move again.  Sounds trite, but keep in mind that this is a marathon, not a sprint.  Keep drinking plenty of fluids!

It takes time for your body to adjust so hang in there it will happen.

Hello, today also makes a month for me and for the past week I've benn 310. I guess is  not bad considering  I was 354 when I started the 10 day pre-op liquid diet on Sept 17 (surgery was on Sept. 29th). Good to know I'm not alone, and I'm totally with you, it's very frustrating!
