I just had 1/2 bag of chips and I feel like crap.  My sleeve does not like the grease or the carbs at all!  Lesson learned.

Speaking of, has anyone a recommendation for a chip that will work with the sleeve? I've seen some on BariatricChoice.com.

I've heard of Quest potato chips that you can purchase online that are high in protein and low in carbs but I don't know if they're any good.  I kinda want to stay away so I don't develop a craving for REAL chips.

We just talked about that last night at our support group. I was amazed how alot of post-op people eat pork rinds for the crunch (0 carbs). I personally would totally want to stay away from chips. You eat one and it will lead to the entire bag. NO thank you.

Potato chips and french fries don't make my stomach happy either.  When I want chips, I've been doing Popcorners and those are pretty nice.  (I get the single serve bags for portion control.)

I eat Fit popcorn for crunch.  Most fried foods don't agree with me- nor do they really appeal to me anymore.  I was not a big chip eater before surgery.  You have to be careful with any food that is a trigger for more carbs.  Most days I just stick to my normal plan and feel better when I do that. I do eat some almonds occasionally.

I have been making and eating the turkey pepperoni chips when I need a crunch fix. Yummy and good protein too.
