Did you have a pre-diet? how much did you lose?

My doctor wants a 10 day liquid pre-diet and a 30 day post-liquid then soft food diet. How much did you lose before surgery and a post diet surgery?

I had days of liquids and 2 days clear before the surgery. I also know several people who just had 2 days of clear before the surgery.  They just want you to lose some weight because it's easier for them to maneuver inside you and most importantly to reduce a fatty liver. Good luck.  I just had soups and shakes...

I had a 2 month full liquid diet. Shakes, broth, water, sf Popsicles, and sf jello. 

I lost 64lbs. I had a 3 week post op liquid diet, then soft foods, now all foods. I have lost 106lbs total and I am 7 weeks out.

Wow, 2 month liquid before hand! I did 10 days & I thought that was a lot!!

Believe me, it was not fun at times but I got into a groove and it wasn't too bad.

in the 6 month supervised diet I lost over 50lb the last week on liquid I lost 7 lb

I started diet modification in January and lost 25 pounds between then and my surgery which was mid-March.  I've lost about 120 pounds total in 2014.  

I had no pre-op liquid diet and lost no weight.  Post op stats are in my signature.
