I would like to add a nice yellow flowered warm group brugmansia to my collection. A lot of flowers appear more gold than pure yellow,or else they are very pale. What do our members think is the purest yellow cultivar?

Bergfee is a nice yellow and it likes cooler temps, it is a small bloom but nicely formed. It fades to a light yellow.

I saw Jamaica Yellow in a greenhouse the other weekend and it was one of the few yellows I've seen that didn't have gold tones to it. As with most brugs though, who knows what it does when temps change.

Kathleen, I don't have any of the Brugs mentioned but every pic of Marisol looks the same, I think it's a beauty. I don't doubt that the others are too, it's just that I have watched Marisol grow up..lol

Thank you all. Before I joined BGI I bought what was listed as "Jamaica Yellow" on ebay, but of course once it bloomed,I discovered it wasn't Jamaica yellow. Just another single gold.
I'll have to keep an eye out for Marisol.
Thanks for the kind offer Connie, I'm pm you.

Hi again Kathy,
My Shooting Star stays true yellow, but in certain temps it will turn orange. But there are no gold tones, it is a really lovely yellow.
Inca Sun also seems to stay more true yellow than many others, but sadly, I don't have it any more. Dan has it though

Kathleen, Marisol is now in the U.S. and Belguim, so hopefully, it will soon get distributed.

Lol Mickey, my favorite teams are the Ducks and the Patriots. I'd love to see the super bowl with
Patriots and Seahawks, like them too. But I just love my Tom Brady!
And Florida, glad she got beat. I don't care much for any Florida teams since Don Schula retired
from the Dolphins. :)
