Surgery coming up!
New here! Down to the wire now, just waiting on insurance approval. I'm no longer nervous or scared, just super excited to get this done finally. Been considering it for the last 10 years, and that's long enough for me. Date should be sometime mid February. I heard that sleevers don't lose as much as RNY, but I'm seeing some great results from others.
the newest reports show about the same loss between the vsg and the rny only a little slower but we have our whole life to loss and the vsg has a better life style with less problems and restrictions
you will be surprised how fast you may get approved mine took 3 business days must are within 2 weeks so end Of January is possible depending on your surgeons schedule
the time will go fast just follow you plan and all will go great
What I see from current research is that VSG doesn't lose weight as fast initially as RNY, but long term results are the same.
I'm certainly thrilled with my progress so far! :D
