Movie Theater Snacks

I have a question for the veterans.....

In your opinion, what is the best movie theater snack for peeps with sleeves? I want to "enjoy" the whole movie atmosphere with everyone else within reason.  I realize today I probably can't eat anything at the movies because I am newly sleeved, but I'm asking for the future.

Thanks in advance!

I weaned myself off movie snacks years ago - that's your best option!  Movies shouldn't need mindless eating to enjoy :)

That said, I'm at the movies today through lunch. I have a yogurt in my purse that's frozen and it'll be thawed for me to eat (as lunch) between movies.

Agreed. Before surgery I could eat through half of a large popcorn just during the previews, without ever realizing it. The distraction of a movie can set some up for overeating.

I went to the movies last night, actually, and brought a protein shake. I enjoyed the movie just the same.

And it's delicious :)

I had a summer job at a deli when I was a kid and people pronounce it Very Strangely.

We just got back from seeing the Wedding Ringer.  I brought some rolled up sliced turkey, ham and a couple lite mozzarella string cheeses.

I love the movies and as said above I used to down a large popcorn without a second thought. Now, I take a cup of edamame when I go now. I buy them in the shell - there salty and it takes time to get the beans out with your teeth. Love them!
