The bad pilates instructor is subbing for the good one today, so I skipped pilates.  I think I might take a nap.  That sounds like a good way to spend some time on this blustery Friday!  (I'm also at 189 today which means I'm officially down 130 pounds.  Hooray.  I should have no trouble reaching my high school weight in time for my 20th reunion in May.)

1: frankenshake

Woo!  That's awesome!  I actually tried on my high school graduation dress about 20 pounds ago and it fit. What the heck?  I guess it's just an example of how much my body has changed in the last 20 years even aside from the weight gain.

maintenence is a good skill -- that little bit should come off over time.  I got to 170.9 at my lowest -- 170 is kind of what I picked out of the blue for my goal weight.  It's a number -- when you look at yourself if you are happy where you are -- be happy and maintain.  If there is still more that needs to go, then it will go.

Changing from losing to maintenance is a bit tricky.  I have found myself most successful by not changing much.  But I'm still super new to it, so only time will tell!

btw a good friend of mine is obsessed w/ siggi's yogurt.  he always talks about it.  I find it a little tart, but that is prob why it is so healthy (no sugar).

I'm concerned about maintenance, so thank you for what you said...that you have been most successful by not changing much.  I have 5-15 more lbs to lose...easier said than done, I'm sure...but I'm still losing pretty well.  I was 6 months yesterday and I lost 10 lbs during that 6th month.  I'm worried that I won't be able to stop losing, I'll turn into a skeleton, and my husband won't find me attractive any more.  Pretty ridiculous but my worries none the less.

So Stacy I was losing up until xmas and now with not good choices have gained 8# for the first time since being sleeved! I am back on track but seriously I was when losing eating 1200 calories now I am eating 900-1000 and i am not losing any, its like my body is confused so i am wondering how i can get the losing going again???? I am drinking my water faithfully tracking every bite and walking 1 mile a day 4 days a week

How long have you been back on track?  Sometimes it takes the body to adjust.

I would focus on water, protein & movement.  If you do that it you should get back to losing!
