Hi! I am just hitting 6 weeks post op tomorrow and was wondering where you guys were at at 6 weeks healing, pain and exercise-wise. for me, i still can't get more than 1oz of soft food down at a time, and i still have a weird pain that kind of spasms up on me from time to time on the left side of my stomach and makes taking in fluids or food uncomfortable. i'm walking about 10,000 steps per day, and getting close to 64 ounces of fluids daily but some days are still way harder than others sleeve-wise. some days it's totally happy, and others it feels more painful or inflamed almost from the moment i wake up.

what were your experiences like at 6 weeks?

At 6 weeks I was able to eat soft foods and I was having 2 shakes a day and about 2 ounces of food at my meals.  I was cleared to start exercise at that point and I was feeling pretty great.  I was getting in all of my fluids and proteins.

Have you talked to your surgeon about the spasms?

At 6 weeks I was walking a lot and eating all kinds of soft food and I just checked myfitnesspal and I was still using one shake per day.  Seems like a distant memory.  I still log every bit and gulp and that keeps me honest.  I still have another 35 pounds I would like to get off.

At about six weeks, I was cleared for strenuous activity, baths and swimming. I only did the former, though! I started seeing my personal trainer again and I started the New Rules of Lifting for Women, which I'm still doing.

I could eat about 2 ounces of food. I was cleared to eat normal food, but I was still eating a lot of soft food because I had cooked way too much in that phase and it was in my freezer. Some days I could eat more, some days I could barely finish 2 ounces.

I had just gone back to work. I walked constantly, at lunchtime and at home in the morning.

My Centre (In Canada) started your diet for life at 6 weeks.  So all Restrictions where off.  At 6 weeks out i was not having any issues with 'Steve' ... to the point i was worried that the Dr. Messed Up.  Then i tried a Sausage....Think i ate a stone...and still dont like it.

I was lucky, and 'Steve' really never had any issues with Drinking.  I still Took it slow.   Not wanting to 'Pop' anything
