Question about Unjury Unflavored Protein Packets

I am Day 6 Post-Op. I have been drinking Premier Protein Shakes since I got home from the hospital. I wanted something warm, and broth has not appealed to me. So I heated up some Tomato Soup with milk. I made sure it was not hotter than 140 degrees (as the directions say) and added an Unjury Unflavored Protein Packet to it. But as much as I stirred it, it was still lumpy in the soup...not appealing at all. Am I using this product incorrectly. This is my first time trying it. Any tips would be appreciated. :-)

I'd recommend mixing the powder with a small amount of liquid first and then slowly adding the warmer liquid into it while stirring.

That is why I like the Syntrax Nectar better.  But as you have the Unjury, as I started out with too, I take the milk and powder and mix it in a blender bottle shake and than shake some more and slowly stir into Tomato Soup as you slowly warm it up.

hi Kayceedee! Unjury protein powders can't be heated above 140 degrees or else they get lumpy. you can use a meat o sugar thermometer to make sure the liquid isn't above 140 before adding the powder.

OR if you're craving something savory and easier, you could try HealthWise protein chicken broth, beef broth, or tomato soup. if you google it it'll come up. On my surgeons program those 3 of the health wise soups were considered clear liquids. they've got 15g of protein each (which might not be as much as the injury)
