I am scheduled to have the sleeve on March 11.  My post op nutrition packet is kind of vague on when I can add protein powder to drinks and broths.  I felt like they told me I could do this pretty soon but wondering what other people have done.

Double check with your provider as every plan is different.

I was allowed to have clear protein beverages (like Isopuke, Unjury chicken broth, & syntrax nectars) as soon as I got home.

Not sure if you spelled it like that intentionally but I so second that! Isopuke it was!

I was able to have protein powder/shakes immediately when I got home.  Ask your surgeon to be sure.

The minute they remove the IV from your arm, your body requires 64oz of fluids daily as a MINIMUM.  Work broths and protein drinks as part of that liquid requirment.
