Environmental Allergies worse post-op?

Hi, The last few weeks I have noticed that my allergies have gotten worse. I wonder if its coincidental so I thought i'd start a little survey. Were your environmental allergies, worse, better, or no change Post Op.

The problem for me is I develop a drip down the back of my throat and with my tiny stomach it fills me up a lot quicker than it used to. LOL

So.. that drip can actually be a sign of reflux or other stomach acid problems.  Pretty interesting, eh?  I'd guess that it's probably not allergies, but some breakthrough acid.

Reflux has been worse, too. Very Interesting

Thanks for the input.

For some reason my vagus nerve (it extends from the brain into your stomach) gets stimulated much quicker now so I am constantly blowing my nose.  Mine has nothing to do with allergies.  Do a little research on here and you'll discover it's very common.  Yours could certainly be allergies but you may want to check out this thread:  http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/rny/3483297/Vagus-Nerve-Ru nny-Nose-Question/

Speaking to this issue, my sense of smell was amplified for about a week after surgery! It was like a super power! It got better, though! I've always had a drippy nose, so nothing new  for me. Good luck to you!
