Keeping track of protien?
You can still log your food for the day; it simply won't give you the projection for what your weight will be in 5 weeks (or whatever their standard message is). It's been so long since I saw the message I forget the exact wording. But yes, I also get the little message every day telling me to eat more. I ignore it and just log everything I eat and drink and keep track of my protein that way.
When you are ready to close your diary for the day, use the "Quick Add Calories" tool and add in 200 calories or however much you need to go over the threshhold (1000 calories for a woman, 1200 for a man). Complete your diary for the day. Then go back into it and take the quick added calories out. That way your diary is accurate and you are updating properly in your MFP feed.
Ignore the stupid messages about eating too few calories if you do get them.
I also use My Fitness Pal. I have a Fitbit for my Activity and it automatically syncs to My Fitness Pal. Love it! :-)

I love the My Fitness Pal website. I have it on my laptop and my phone. So I can keep up with my food, liquids, & exercise. I log my meal plan every morning when I wake up so I don't have to worry what to eat. I just follow the menu I planned for the day. I also love the link "community". It has one group just for VSG concerns. Very helpful.
