Are you the sort of person who can stop after having just a little bit? If so maybe eating just one Hershey's kiss would do the trick?  Or a few chocolate chips?  My problem is that once I start it's a drug in my system and I have a hard time stopping.

Agreed! Chocolate is definitely a drug for me too!

I agree. Get a high% of cacao. It is hard to overeat such a dark chocolate and some good health benefits.

So I know it's not chocolate, but what about Diet Swiss Miss! That is my go to when I need something sweet!

I like chocolate sweetened with Stevia, it's pricey but it does the trick. Beware of "sugar free" chocolate that includes sugar alcohols. Anything but Erythriol and Xylitol cause major intestinal distress for me. Maltitol and Sorbitol are cheap sugar alcohols and they're in most sugar free candy. Avoid them like the plague!

Here are some other ways I get a chocolate fix:

Mix cocoa powder in plain greek yogurt, sweeten with liquid splenda. You can do this with sugar free chocolate pudding mix.

Make hot chocolate by heating up milk (if you can tolerate it; I can't) or almond milk, add in cocoa powder and whisk. Add liquid splenda to taste.

Low carb chocolate cheesecake.

Chocolate protein shake, my favorite is Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle.

When I get super-cravey (usually around my time of the month too), I make myself a cup of cocoa (1c skim milk, few ounces of water, 1T cocoa powder, and Stevia to taste) and it does the trick.  It takes me a while to fini**** it's SO rich, and packs lots of protein and little sugar/carbs.
