I cannot express how excited and blessed I am right now. Saturday marked the start of week 5 of my journey to my first 5k. I ran a complete mile tonight with my sons (15 & 6). I completed my first 14 minute mile. I jogged nonstop. I went to the Nike store earlier today and I tried on and bought a size Large shirt. I like to reward myself with accomplishments for running, with running gear. I'm so excited to be able to go in to a regular store and buy a "normal" size.  My surgery gave me my life back and I'm going to live it!

YAY!  That's awesome!  I'm doing the same thing.  I now fit into running shorts I bought 10 years ago that have been gathering dust in the bottom of my dresser.  :)
