2 week preop

I start tomorrow. Im excited. Here is what mine is. 

Breakfast protein shake

Lunch protein shake and 1 fruit

Dinner 2 cups salad and a vegetable or a frozen meal like smart one with vegetables mainly. 

Its going ro be hard. I can do thia.

Lots of water

Good luck! I would have loved your pre op! I was only allowed shakes mixed with water. Then I could also have broth but nothing else. You can do it!!

Good luck to you! You can do it! My doc allows salad for dinner too, never been so excited to eat lettuce lol.

My surgery was supposed to be March 21 but was recently rescheduled to March 28, so just a couple days before yours. I've already been on a similar pre-op diet for 2 weeks. It honestly hasn't been as hard as I expected, I think in no small part due to the fact that my surgeon allows (like yours does) veggies & a serving a fruit every day. At least it's "real food" instead of just liquids! 2 weeks is totally doable. 4 weeks is going to be a PITA for me, lol, but it'll be worth it. Hang in there. You can do it!
