Having a hard time

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted in a while because I wasn't ready to share the news that I was pregnant and it was kind of the only thing on my mind for the last six weeks. I was waiting until my first OB appointment. Unfortunately, the pregnancy does not look like it is viable and I am going to be having a miscarriage. I was ten weeks. I am so sad.

I'm struggling with my eating. When I was pregnant, I had pretty bad morning sickness and I was willing to try to eat anything to make me feel better. Once saltines made me throw up, though, I decided to just go back to my normal eating habits (since if carbs would make me sick too, might as well stay low carb). Just as I was getting back on track eating, I found out about the miscarriage and I am doing some comfort eating. Of course, thanks to the sleeve, most eating like this feels pretty horrible so it's just bad all around.

My exercise routine went out the window. Strength training made me motion sick and would make the rest of my day awful. I had crushing fatigue and had a hard time doing anything else. To top it off, I fainted and fell on my already-sore ****yx. I either broke or bruised it, but it hurts more than ever before and it hurts all the time.

I still feel pregnant and none of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit (my bust size went up dramatically so I have to wear a large in tops). Thankfully I saved some of my clothes from the way down, but it is so demoralizing. I just want my body to go back to the way it was.

I'm not really asking for advice. I don't know what I'm going to do, but whatever it is, I know it has to come from me. I guess I just am having a hard time and wanted to share.

I wish there was something I could say that would make you feel better but I would probably end up stumbling over them anyways.  How about a hug?

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry for your loss. I've never been through this before, but know a few women who have. Take care of yourself and grieve your way.  ?

I am so sorry for your loss. I went through it twice, so I know some of your pain. There's nothing I can say that will make you feel any better, but I will tell you that you will feel better someday. Just take whatever time you need to grieve. You'll know when you're ready to pick yourself up and start over again.

((Hugs))

Thank you. It's very comforting yet sad to know how many other women have gone through it. I know in my head I will get better, I'm just going to be sad and grieve for a while. My husband and I were just so excited. It was going to be the first grandchild on my side of the family.
