Strange NSVs

I have lost 74 pounds now and things are happening that are completely unexpected.

  1. My IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is all but gone.  I used to have almost daily problems and had trouble going out to eat because I would need to be very close to a bathroom, and would often have to linger, to make sure there was no problem. Now, I have only had a couple of issues in the 4 months since surgery.  It has made my life so much easier.

2. I used to have to keep cough drops in the drawer in my nightstand, because I would wake up in the middle of the night with a tickle in my throat that would make me cough uncontrollably, and cough drops were the only things that would make the coughing stop. The coughing has stopped and I haven't had a cough drop since the surgery.

3. My adult acne is almost gone.  I used to be so embarrassed because of my skin problems, and wore lots of make-up and cover up to hide the pimples and imperfections.  Now there are times I actually leave the house with almost no make-up, except mascara.  I thought that I would have to live with this problem until the end.

NSVs just keep in coming, and I can't wait to see what is coming next!

I can't wait to find out how much more is to come.  Everything is better with a VSG.
