I'm about 5-1/2 months post op and have had a bunch of good things happen.  I'm below the 300 pound mark that I've been at for 20 years or so (down 95 pounds), when in the shower I can reach where I couldn't before to make me squeeky clean, my seat belt fits, I can walk without my walker at times, I actually stood while doing the dishes and vacuuming the house and bought clothes that are 3 sizes smaller.  Thanks to all of  you who keep me going.

Wonderful NSV's.  I'm so happy for you.  Congratulations on breaking the 300 pound mark.  that's a great SV!  Plus losing 95 pounds is excellent.  You are doing great.  I think you'll be surprised how quickly you'll break the 200 pound mark!  Keep up the good work

Hey hey Minky! That is absolutely fabulous! I have been in your shoes. When I hit under 300 a week after the surgery I was ecstatic I could tie my own shoe laces with ease. Good for you, keep going, things are only going to get better. Yay!
