I had my VSG 4 years ago, reconstruction surgery 2 years ago, and have regained some weight since. Hubby (also sleeved) and I did a reset starting last Tuesday, and it's going really well, so I'm hugely encouraged, but would also like to touch base with other people a few years out.

Hi! Kelly-Anne:)  I'm still here but usually hang out in the Maintenance Forum.  You should come join us!  I'm dealing with a little regain myself.  Nice to see you again!

I'm not sure how to get rid of the tickers.  I'm not that tech savvy.  Sorry!!

I am also a little over 4 years out. Had PS a few years back as well. Weight is below goal still, and in general it is going well... but I did have some regain about 9 months ago. Turned out to be acid issues, hiatel hernia, and then went into a gallbladder removal.  My hubby lost 100 with me back then (no surgery), but has since had nearly 40 pounds of regain that we will work together on pulling off of him. Glad to see you back- don't be a stranger!

Hi!
I've decided that having community will be a help, so I'll be around.
My story is a cautionary tale. I maintained at 187 for several months with minimal effort, then booked my plastics. I was nervous, so gained to 199 by surgery date. (Malteasers) Came home after surgery back at 187, then had to do pretty much NOTHING for 3 months, but kept enjoying a bit here, and a bit there... Add in a whole lot of short trips, including 3 weeks of taking care of the grands (got back home last Monday night) and here I am. I was 223.4 last Tuesday morning, the first day of our Reset. (I'm also recovering from the flu, which actually made the Reset easier)

I see you are an Instant Pot fan too! (I do seem to remember that you're as addicted to kitchen toys as I am) We've had ours for a couple of months, and it sure does simplify making the vast amount of Greek yogurt we eat. I generally make 2 batches a week - for the 2 of us. Yesterday we made our favourite lentil soup recipe, and we're more in love with it than ever. Next - something saucy with chicken.

Our second one is being delivered soon - SO addicted...
