I had my light breakfast this am, for the rest of today is just clear liquids... protein drinks werent on the list, so I'm assuming theyre a no? I know, I know...I should have asked the nut in my last visit. I wasnt thinking. Of course, now I'm hungry...I'll live, lol.

I feel as ready as I'll ever be. I'm so glad that I found this site- all of the stories and information have been invaluable...

I cant wait to get through it and come back a sleever'!

So many thoughts and nerves going on right now...I'm trying to make light of it in front of my 3 kids, they dont quite get whats happening- and thats OK. I know everything will be OK...

One great thing is I'm going to have a legendary surgeon - her name is Laura Choi, Danbury CT. She's amazing- and the bittersweet part is, I'm among her last surgeries in this area. Shes moving to TX... its such a blow for our hospital. But, I count myself lucky that I'll have her...

Anyway- here I am reading and sipping my green tea.
