Have anyone experienced tailbone pain since losing a significant amount of weight? I am about 10 pounds from my goal weight and for the past 2 weeks my tailbone has been hurting. It's not terrible pain just kind of annoying but I don't want it to get worse. If you've had this issue what did you do for relief?

Me too. Its really painful, and I cant stay sitting down for a long time. I started workong on my gluteus muscles, doing exercises only for that spot. Hope it will help!!!

This is very common.  DW uses a seat cushion by contour.  She has one for the house and one for the car.

Google ****yx pillow.  I bought a couple over the internet.

If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!

I realized that after I had lost some weight I was falling into my chair. There was less booty back there, and I would drop the last couple of inches. It really hurt. I had to make a conscious effort to sit down carefully. A pillow or padded chairs  may help too. It felt like I was sitting on bone for a while, but somehow it goes away. Bless you

I had the same problem and bought several ****yx cushions.  They make all the difference at home and in the car.  I use a skinny neck pillow to sit on when flying.  My Dr. says its because our rapid weight loss causes us to lose the fat pad that normally covers the ****yx.  Going forward you'll have to get used to it and not irritate it too badly.

Oh yes.  I got a ****yx pillow.  It did pass eventually, thank goodness!
