I went to see my primary care doctor today for the first time since my surgery.  My blood pressure was 116/68 so he cut my blood pressure medication in half and wants me to monitor it between now and my next visit.  If I continue to do this well, I will hopefully get off my blood pressure meds at my next visit.

GREAT NSV.....even better than clothes being too big....but they're both pretty good, aren't they???

Keep up the good work!

Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!! And thank you so much for posting this today. I have been stuck at the same weight for about 5 days. I was feeling very down about it. Your post reminded me of the real reason I started this journey. I was to get healthy and cut down on all the meds I take. The doctor removed one of my BP meds last week. That is so much more important than some stupid number on a scale!!!!

Started this journey 6/6/16 - 246.8lbs. SW 214 - 9/6/16 VSG. CW - 158. (9/15/17) Post VSG M1- 20, M2- 8.4 M3- 6.6 M4- 8 M5- 3.6 M6-5.8 M7- 1.5 M8- 1.5 GOAL - 142.

Never waste a second chance!!
