4 years out

The same happened to me. I reached my goal on October 2 nd and lost my husband December 17 th. At least he got to see me happy and comfortable with my weight. He said he was proud of me for being able to go through with the surgery and for doing everything I was supposed to do. At the memorial service there were lots of desserts but I kept thinking about what he said and stayed away from the junk.

Congrats on your 4 year success. Family trauma can arrive at any time and its so much better to at least be healthy and at a proper weight to deal with it. I know you won't let stress eating sneak up on you. Know that others have made it through and there are good times waiting in the future. Diane S
