Best wishes, but will your GERD get better?

I hope you're saving all of your paperwork so you can sue later on.  It is irresponsible for your surgeon to resleeve you when you have GERD.

And if you're not going to read the comments, why bother posting at all?

I'm confused. You have GERD?  More restriction will make it worse.

With GERD and the sleeve, better to revise to a DS, actually, because that will resolve the GERD and be more effective long-term, besides.

Ether way, good luck.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

A second surgery ALSO won't resolve your issues with night eating.  In fact, you could likely kill yourself if you don't resolve your mental health issues before pursuing more weight loss surgery - why?  Because if you can't control your eating, you could very likely overeat and rupture your sutures/staple line while they're still healing.

You might not care about your health, and it seems like your surgeon doesn't either, but there are people here who do and have given you consistently good advice that you've ignored because it doesn't fit your narrative.

Just block the people who are nasty here - OH has an amazing tool for blocking. Most folks here are caring and supportive, and worth making time to read. A private support group, where all members try to post daily, updating their status/progress, and supporting each other, is also great. I don't know if there is one for re-sleevers, but if so, hopefully someone else will contact you.  Or you can start a new special interest group!

Best of luck!!

Blocking is a great tool.  But if you block everyone who gives good advice that you don't really want to hear, where does that leave you?  It just leaves you in an echo chamber of people who give a great hand pat but little else.

When advising people to block, maybe advise them to think twice - I would hate the OP to only be able to interact with clueless people with bad advice or no advice at all.  He needs real support from people who have knowledge and experience.  Most of the people who have bothered to reply asking him to reconsider have done so because they think he's making a HUGE error that may well take his life sooner than it should.  GERD is no joke!!
