I'm new to this community and am currently 2+ weeks out from having VSG. This community has a wealth of information and I'm excited to start perusing through all the posts. I feel fortunate that my surgery was fairly easy, the nausea following for 3 days, not so much. I have started my puree diet today which I am super excited about because my full liquids are sliding right through and I'm really hungry. I lost 14 lbs the first week and have not lost any in the last 9 days. Fortunately, I took my measurements before surgery or I would be freaking out. I have lost an inch on EACH calf, 3 inches in my waist, for a total of 9 inches all over. So odd how you can lose so many inches, and not a lot of weight. I'm loving it though!

Congrats! Good that you got your pre-surg measurements. Measurements are often a better indicator than the scale. They get you through the plateaus. Welcome!
