day 4 pre op diet

It has been tough but i'm getting through it. I've lost 10 pounds so far which is amazing (i'm sure water weight) but having horrible leg cramps at night. Anyone tried Gatorade or magnesium for this problem?

Anyone else on their pre-op diet? How's it going?

I am on day 2! I have been using banana for my fruit snack and drinking some vitamin water to keep up my electrolytes and stuff. I havent had any leg cramps... just low energy. We can do this though!

sounds like you are on a better planned diet...i don't get any fruit! I should only do shakes but the dietitian told me i could have 1 meal with a lean protein and veggie. I've been entering everything into myfitnesspal and can see my K intake is really low. I started mag supplements. The cramps have stopped but I am having a lot of pain wherever i had a cramp. I'm on diuretics too and stopped them Saturday and now i'm up 3 pounds ughhh !

8 more days! How are you doing? We can do this!
