BMI Question

Hi there,

I am new to the forums so firstly wanted to say hello :)

I have always had problems with my weight, but recently my weight has sky rocketed due to a horrible bout of depression. Anyhow, I am barely at the 40 bmi but I have never been this overweight. My question is, do insurance companies require documentation of being over 40 bmi for a long period of time? Or the fact that I am now this big, be enough? Just wondering....

Thanks

Every insurance plan is different in their requirements. The best way to find out is to call the number on the back of your insurance card. Fingers crossed for you!

Welcome! Every insurance company, and policy, is indeed different. Your best bet is to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask.
