Today I went in for pre screening. I am down another 4 pounds. I did my EKG (only waited 3 hours, to be on the machine for 45 seconds), blood work done, got my pre op instructions. All in All a very happy productive day... All that is left is phyc exam Friday, final release from my doctor (which is stupid, cause she sent the referral), upper GI, nutritional class, a weigh in, and another round of blood work.

yeah.... today was the phych exam.... and I was disappointed.... I seriously thought it was going to be questions like why did you eat that cake, pizza, and chicken wings????!!!!!!! it was a lot more laid back more like where are you going into this and what is your mind set. the support team, and things like that. I did tell her not everyone knows the truth that I "lied" about my operation, to some people that would stress me. ( I told some people I had a fibroma in my stomach lining and the HAVE to "sleeve me" atleast to fix it). She understood, and told me that my thought process was correct to lie, to save myself stress.... later when I finish healing I can tell them the truth if I choose to. but before, during, and right after my operation I don't need certain peoples crap!

You are on your way! I felt the same way about some of the tests and approvals (stupid). But it is the process. Wishing you a smooth and bumpless journey... :)
