Help! One week post op

There are so many factors particularly in your first 6 to 8 weeks post-op. Swelling, water retention, stalled metabolism, etc. My best advice to you right now is not to focus on the numbers and follow your plan. It will happen. Everyone is different. For example I stalled like clockwork every 3 weeks. My wife is is a little over 1 year post-op has never had a stall and has lost at least .5 lbs or more each week. There is not rhyme or reason as to why.

Thank you everyone for your reply's so i decided to stop weighing myself daily and stay focused on the liquid diet.its easy for me to become focused on the number on the scale so this tim i want to approach things differently

I gained 7 pounds from IV fluids. The way to get rid of fluids is to drink. Your body will retain what it thinks it needs. So sip sip sip. You must get your 64 oz per day.
