Happy Wednesday! Finally heard from our public adjuster. I'm hoping to have an insurance settlement by the end of the month so I can finally get my indoor waterfalls removed. Yay!

QOTD: How do you type? Are you a hunt and peck (two finger typer) or are you a ten finger pro, or do you just use the thumb method or voice feature on your phone? I type 110+ words a minute and the funny story is that even though I took typing classes in college, I didn't get really fast until I hit the chat rooms on AOL, back in the day. I hate texting so if I have to use my phone, I use the voice recognition.

M1: Coffee, PP vanilla, miralax

M2: LO lobster, crab, scallop

M3: Korean sous vide ribs

M4: Bacon wrapped shrimp

M5: Sous vide pork and mashed cauliflower

S: Something protein forward if necessary

E: Nothing specific.

Water/Vits: on track

Happy Wednesday. My mother made me take typing for 2 years in middle school - she said it is is skill that will serve you well in life no matter what profession you work. Boy, was she right! I followed in her footsteps and made my kids take "keyboarding" - so we are all keyboard proficient - 10 finger method. My phone has (I think it's called) swerty - you basically drag your finger over the keys to text. I love that. Sometimes it comes up with a funky word, but most of the time it's good. Interestingly, when I first started working in the legal world, attorneys dictated everything - now the attorneys are all pretty young and do their own typing.

B: cheerios and expired milk - haha, it was fine, but there was a January date on the unopened bottle

L: leftover steak from DelFriscos - it was especially delicious. I think because we haven't had a good steak in weeks

D: "stormy" day here so I'm roasting a chicken and butternut squash (my favorite combo)...one of my favorite meals

E: depending on weather - walk...maybe not, my scar is tender today

L/V: expect to be fine :D

QOTD: How do you type? Are you a hunt and peck (two finger typer) or are you a ten finger pro, or do you just use the thumb method or voice feature on your phone? Being a transcriptioninst, I also type 100+ words a minute on the old keyboard. BUT, put me on a phone or tablet and it is the 2 thumb method! I HATE having to do that, which is why you rarely see me post on a weekend!

M1: scrambled egg w/cheese and 1 slice bacon

M2: low carb carrot cake (2 carbs)with cr. cheese mixed w/protein powder and no sugar added marmalade

M3: l/o roasted chicken

M4: 1/2 protein bar

M5: ?? not sure what hubby is making

E: Isometrics and maybe some chair-yoga?

Due to weather, my fitness classes were cancelled. This is both good and bad - bad because I like my classes, good because I also really did not want to get out of bed after a late night of "just one more episode of Stranger Things!"

Today I'll work on school until the evening. But I'm in a good place for the week so far which is a great way to feel. Both the guys are working from home today, so hopefully they won't be too distracting.

QOTD: I have no idea how fast I type, but I'm a touch typer. On touchscreen devices, I use my thumbs. Similarly to Ladyblu, typing in talkers during my original college years got my typing speed up.

1: protein shake
2: I'm thinking about egg salad, but I'm not sure yet. In part it will depend on what the guys eat.
3: Pan-Fried Pork with Ginger Sauce, rice for the guys

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: hopefully yoga

I feel that you and I would be friends IRL - we'd Lego and watch Stranger Things together :D

We made it through s2e5 last night and, I kid you not, I made the comment at one point "So if we stayed up until 3am....."

Hopefully we'll find time to fini**** up this weekend if I'm on target with school work. There aren't any movies to see, so there's a chance!

I think you're right!! I watched season 2 in one day, but wished I'd savored it and spread it out instead. I love that the creators/writers and I grew up on the same movies/music. It's fun nostalgia!

Sadly, since Lance and I watch it together, we have to wait until we have time that coincides! Otherwise we'd probably both have binged it while the other was busy at some point already :D Sometimes doing things with another person sucks :P

I was hooked by the first opening credits - that music! It's so 80s! It's amazing.

Are you a Ready Player One fan? Speaking of movies/music from "our" youth?

Last night Lance said, "I wonder if the actors needed to learn to ride bikes like that? Do kids even have bikes like that today?!" And the phones.. and the no seatbelts in the back of that Ford Pinto!!!

And I love Samwise Gamgee, no matter who he's currently playing ;)

The opening music is perfect! I haven't read Ready Player One, but the movie is coming soon, right? I'm sure I'll love it. Steven Spielberg is such a good choice for a movie like that.

Aw, Sean Astin is awesome and so is Winona Ryder. Speaking of no seatbelts in the back of the Pinto, my parents had a BABY HAMMOCK for me that slung across the backseat of their cars. My mom said it was perfect for driving me around to get me to sleep. How are we all alive?!
