i am still a food addict, in recovery.

Transferred to gum and jerky.

i need to switch that to exercise.

Here goes my day.

B - Protein Shake

S - Poached egg in microwave

L - Tuna salad with light mayo and salsa

S - Cheese

D - poached chicken breast with zucchini veg

S - Cottage cheese slice of roast beef

All vits and water

MFP says its a good day.

Protein - 98

Carb - 11

Fat - 15

QOTD: The word addiction is usually reserved for physical addiction. The research hasn't been definitive on that, it has to be replicated many times.

That being said, Mental addiction? I think it can be. Probably obsession would be a better word. Funny I never ate gum pre-WLS except on a plane. I don't always chew it, but almost always have some with me.

Coffee- I don't know what it is, not that I didn't drink coffee before, but not in a 'have to have multiple cups a day' kind of way. Transfer obsession? Yup. Plus it dulls hunger.

That being said our thoughts can change our brain chemistry and pathways sooo... not a simple answer.
