Good morning!

I feel like I have been so BUSY every day. It's nice to read a bit about others' day-to-day lives on here every now and again. :-) I've been struggling, to be honest. Please send some vibes my way.

QOTD: In 2008 at this time, I was one week away from my high school graduation. I cannot believe it's been just about 10 years since the night that I graduated high school. It feels like a lifetime and yesterday somehow at the same time. I started going to a local community college and working full time. My father had just died a couple years before, and I was still recovering from it, to be honest. So, in 10 years, I've earned two degrees, worked three jobs, gotten married, and I've changed a lot. I'm not financially stable nor do I have children (both things I wanted by now) but sometimes life has other ideas. I'll get there. We'll get there. Honestly, I feel so much more energy and drive now that I can move properly again. The difference between 390 and 290 was HUGE, so I cannot imagine what I'll feel like when I get down below 250. I cannot wait! My 6 month surgiversary is in a couple weeks, and I am just so happy that I did it.

Qotd I was living downtown in a low income apartment by myself but was seeing someone that lived there. We decided to live together in April so we moved to the apartment complex I live in now but a different apartment. I was smo and didn't really care except climbing the stairs to the third floor. Had some health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure. But that boyfriend died in early 2010. Trying to get my depression under control.

Good morning! It's raining today as predicted, so the day will be filled with running errands. I didn't win at Bunko last night, but had a good time.

I got a call from my brother this morning, out of nowhere he started having seizures. He is 46 and very healthy, eats well and runs daily. They started him on some medication and he will be having an MRI next Wednesday. My stomach already hurts from worrying all morning, now the wait begins for the results.

QOTD-10 years ago I was 41 and absolutely miserable. 2008 was a very bad year. I was in constant pain and also developed sudden onset early cataracts. I basically woke up one morning and saw everything through a white cloud. This was also my last year working as an R.N., I was done. I retired early at 313 pounds. I gained 50 pounds during this year. This would have been a good year to have WLS, but I guess I wasn't ready.

10 years ago today-I was working in my first professional job after finishing college. I was also living the life of diet after diet! I was in a ongoing unhealthy relationship and trying to help my grandmother- who raised my much younger brother and sister. Like they always say " if I only knew then what I know now".
