I am a senior, I had my VSG 6 months after I turned 60 and surgery was on 6-25-2018. When I go to a restaurant I get a senior discount, typically I refer to myself as an older adult or grandma lol. When I refer to older adults than I am I typically refer to them as elders with total respect, an elder has lived a long life, experienced much and has much knowledge to share/teach.

5' 2". 60-year-old (at time of surgery)

Hi Bobbie Doll, how are you now after surgery? I am new to this forum and not yet sleeved. I like your question. I am 63 and proud to be a Grammy because we get awards! LOL. And i truly appreciate senior discounts as fixed incomes are tight. Take care :-)

I am home recovering. Before surgery my PCP had me take lots of additional tests because of my age. I have some pain but not unbearable. Unable to type very well because vision is blurry from patch put on me behind my ear.
