Whatcha Eating Today, VSGers? Wednesday, 12/26/18

Hey all! It's a very rainy Wednesday, but the temperature isn't too low, so it's comfortable enough. I am all warm in my new, beautiful hoodie my grandmother bought me from Calvin Klein with pink roses all over it. Clothes is what I got for Christmas, which is perfect for me. We got the cat tower for our real Christmas and got their little selves all fixed and their shots.

Meeting my friend in a bit and she is going to go with me to do some errands and I think we will get lunch out. After I will be going up to the hospital. My mother is doing better, but the palliative care team has things to discuss with me and my grandmother again to reassess how she is doing and what we can expect going forward.

Went to the gym early this morning once they opened. They were busy, but I'm not surprised. It's getting close to that New Year's resolution time!

QOTD: Do you set resolutions for the new year?

I never have really. Maybe this year I will!

B- Just one egg. Not feeling too foodie this morning.

Good morning! I am glad your mother is doing better today, I hope your meeting goes well with the palliative team Mersh.

Looks like off and on sun all day, it's 28 degrees right now and will hopefully get warmer. Dinner with my uncle was really nice last night, he seemed to enjoy it.

I'm running some errands as well today then taking my mom to the casino instead of the normal Friday. It will be a nice ride around the lake. I live at the North end of the lake and the casino is on the south end, about 26 miles long...it's a big lake:-)

QOTD-I read an article this morning on resolutions. It was on the idea of stating intentions rather than resolutions. Supposedly its a more positive approach to resolutions. Maybe I will try it this year, because I never, ever stick to resolutions!

Good morning mersh! I hope things went well with the care team. It sounds like the kitties had a nice holiday, and you as well.

I feel like I eat a lot of yogurt. We are going to be away for a couple of weeks starting Saturday, which for some reaon makes staying on schedule eating easier. We visit with friends of 60+ years, and have spent the last 20 some New Years Eve with one particular couple. They grew up with my husband. So its always a nice break from...being retired?

I am up to my goal weight (130) and I think I feel better and I know my face is not as gaunt. Hmmm.

Took today off to recover from the holidays - I had people both days. However, instead of relaxing I took down all the decorations and the tree - house looks bare now and I love it, lol.

B: 1/2 everything bagel, toasted with cc

L: 3 ravioli

D: 1-2 oz leftover prime rib, 1-2tsp mashed potatoes, 1 baked stuffed shrimp

Never got dressed, but did put on sweats and walked the dog - lol

Since my group doesn't have a "What Did You Eat Today" type of threads going on, I thought I would post in here. Let me know if that's a problem.

QOTD: No, I do 100 Day challenges to change habit and I've been good at those. My next one start 1/7/19 with a bunch of friends from RL and Facebook.

D- Pulled pork, 30 grams sugar free BBQ sauce, Broccoli w/cheese
