Tuesday has been a slow shaky start for me.

Yesterday was great - I managed unbreaded chicken parm (baked) with a tiny bit of angel hair. Had the leftovers today and it was rack and ruin! Aagh.

QOTD: Kinda of a shallow one; if you are having a "bad"hair day, does it sort of shade the day? Do you wear it like you mean it, or wish you had a hat?

My hair is growing out post loss from VSG & transfusions. I look like Art Garfunkel today, and am not wearing it well. My friend Joyce tried fluffing it with a pick, and OMG! A dandelion!

B: Chobani yogurt

S: Premier protein

L: Leftover chicken parm & angel hair pasta (not happy - didn't "take")

S: Chobani yogurt

D: ???? Not feeling it

I have had a productive day at my new job and it feels good! Yesterday I spun my wheels and got nowhere.

QOTD: I have great hair, lol - lost a little after surgery, but it's very thick and now is back full again. It was actually nice to have it thin out. Don't hate me. Also I can gel, scrunch and go or blow it out. Good genes.

B: english muffin with peanut butter

L: chobani key lime yogurt with crumbles...so good

D: a slice of cheese pizza - thin crust and yummy

E: walk with Reggie

L/V: good

I eat quite a bit of yogurt. I noticed you had "crumbles" with yours. What is "crumbles"? Sounds good. :)

I used to have a ton of hair, lol, so I don't hate ya! I have had two separate types of chemo for cancers, and then 2 surgeries back to back with blood transfusions with my VGS, plus 15 other surgeries. And I'm 66. So yeah, my hair is no longer scrunch and go!

But my skin is gorgeous!

It's 4:30pm now and I'm taking a brief break from schooling. I had an eye appointment earlier and went to the gym to run afterward. It was my longest run since my 10k at the end of October... but I achieved the mileage I had set for myself for today and I'm glad about that. I'm not super thrilled to find myself in the position where I have 8 weeks to train for my next half marathon, but it's my own damned fault.

I'm working on finishing up my GERO work for the week. I've got a lot of appointments this week, so I can't dilly dally.

QOTD: I don't really have bad hair days? I think it's a combination of not really caring about my hair and having super short hair. I can pretty much wet a hair brush, run it through my hair, put a dab of product on my fingertips, run them through my hair, and voila, I'm good to go. And that's only necessary if I've slept on it and aren't showering before going out. If I shower, I don't have to do anything, but sometimes I'll do the product thing.

1: protein shake
2: another protein shake because nothing appealed to me after running but I wanted to get some protein in me
3: ham and split pea soup - I made it last night and it's very hearty/ham-y!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: running, yoga
