okay, this is an embarrassing subject

I am very happily 3 years out, actually started losing a little bit over the past few months but my surgeon and I are perfectly happy where I'm at. Good labs, take my vitamins, eat my protein. Part of my success is that I saw a shrink for a year to deal with my eating issues.
but my problem is this...
I've got extra skin...down 'there'.  Not just the mons area, if you know what I mean.
And wearing pants has started to become painful. The crotch always hurts me. I feel like a guy, always wanting to stand up and adjust myself.
Have any of you conquered this problem? I doubt I could ever afford a lower body lift, so unless I just wear skirts and dresses, I have to suffer? It does hurt.

I have to same problem and am having a mons lift/reduction in June (insurance is covering it as mine is the size of a softball!!!).  If that is not possible for you, check out the different shapewear that is out there.  That is what I did.   I have Bali boy shorts and I made the leg opening narrower so that it lifts the mons and keeps it contained.  It works okay for the short term.

do you have them super tight? I didn't even know I could look at a mons reduction. Is it an outpatient procedure? How long will you be off work? I'm intrigued. Mine is as big as what you are describing, and I also have to make sure I wear long shirts.

I am 5'5" and 138 pounds and wear a medium.  The waist and abdomen are a snug fit, but leg open and crotch are much more snug because I sewed them up to give me the lift and support I needed. Mine will be a 23 hour stay, but I have heard that it can be done as an outpatient.    I am having it done after the school year is done so time off isn't an issue.  All things being equal and if you don't have a physical job, then I would guess just a few weeks should do it as far as work is concerned.

You may want to consider at least checking it out with plastic surgeons in your area and see what they say about cost and insurance.  My insurance company denied it at first, and after my plastic surgeon appealed and did a peer to peer review, they okay'd it.  I am sure the pictures (yeah, pictures I kiddingly call "med porn") went a long way to convincing them.

that is what I was going to recommend, boy short shapewear. I liked the underarmor brand best until I had my reconstructive surgery.

thanks...I'm going to look into that, though here in Arizona when it gets to be 115 in the summer, the last thing I want to wear is shapewear! but then I normally wear skirts and dresses to keep cool.

Insurance covered mine due to the infections that you get under their when you sweat. So check with your insurance you may be covered.
