But wait! I live in south Florida and it's 90 degrees outside!

Is anyone else cold most of the time? No, I'm not cold outside, but indoors I often have to wear a light sweater. We live in A/C most the time and I just wonder if my sensitivity could be a low iron thing. (I'm older than many of you, at 59, so never took iron supplements). Or are others just "missing" our old insulation of fat and feel chilly easily too?

No, I'm in south TX and turn off the a/c when hubby's not home. But I also am really enjoying using my new ice shaving machine lol.

Almost 8 years out and I am still always cold.  My blood work is fine.  I guess it's just the missing insulation.  I'm okay with it.  It beats breaking out into a sweat while drying off from the shower, which is what my life was like before WLS.  I keep a sweater at work, and blankets on my bed in the summertime.  I'm 55 myself.

55 years young and 10 months since my surgery,  I am almost always cold.  I used to be the person in the room that was always warm.  Lucky that I live in sunny California so there is usually some sun out to warm me up.  I can really relate to the Cat sitting in the sunny window to warm up!

I'm ALWAYS cold! I mowed our lawn this week with a push mower and when I was finished had a small amount of sweat on my forehead which is the first I've had since surgery 10 months ago. I wonder if it might also be because we're eating fewer calories. Don't know.

I have been cold since surgery.  On my third day home I ordered a twin size electric blanket.  I keep it folded up on the edge of the couch so I have it when I sit down, besides surgery its the best money I have spent on myself, lol.  if I am up and moving I  am fine but sit down to watch a show and I am freezing! My hubby also bought me a foot heater for the bed. it is like a electric blanket but you place it under the mattress pad and it is only about 3'x2'.  the blankets keep me warm enough on top but my feet were freezing, no I do not have any circulatory disease either. I have a small ceramic heater under my desk at work too.

I'm just glad not to feel hot and sweaty all the time like I was 100 pounds ago!
