In need of friends around my age =)

Hey! I am so excited to have been directed to this forum. I didn't even know this was on here! I am 21 years old from NYC and getting RNY on the 20th. I would love for any friends, encouragement, advice, ect. It's very much appreciated =)

Hi! I'm 19 and new to the boards as well. I am hoping to have a VSG and am in the process of doing testing and all of that. I have been looking for someone close to my age. I feel that different ages have different concerns and was wondering if maybe we had some of the same ones? It would be great to have a friend to talk to and I would love to be able to encourage you along your way, since you are much farther than me in the process. Congratulations on having your date set and good luck!! Congrats!!! I had my RNY done 5/16 ... best thing I ever could have done.

Hey Katie!  How did your surgery go??  How is it on the other side??

my surgery went very well.  no complication *knock on wood*. 

Its definitely different ... but not all at the same time lol.

you should join the WLS that was started on fb too!
