I didn't know there was a whole forum for those of us in our 20's! How awesome is this! Anywho, I'm Mandy, and I'm 25 years old and almost 3 weeks post op. Just thought I'd introduce myself here! I can usually be found in the VSG forum, but now I know about this, I will be here a bit too. =)

Hi ladies!  I'm 23 (22 on surgery day), and almost 5 months post-op VSG.  I'm no vet by any means, but happy to help in any way I can! 

We started at about the same weight! wow! You're already down over 100lbs! Thats incredible! I'm sitting in the dreaded 3 week stall at the moment.

You're already doing so well, you'll be there before you know it!

I am Tracy :) I just had my RNY Gastric Bypass this past Thursday the 20th. I will be turning 25 in July. Still have some of my IV weight on that I gained in the hospital but I am excited for the scale to start moving!

Hi sunny_disposition, I am feeling very well! I was surprised about how well I am healing. I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago and thought it would be similar to that- it is nowhere near as bad! I just had my first outing to Wal-Mart and overall it was about a 20 minute outing but I am already worn out from it!

I was the same way!  Once you get to eating normal food, you're energy will skyrocket!
