From band to RNY

Anyone had the band only to want to revise to the bypass???

I had a revision from Band to RNY on February 1st.  I am down 49lbs since surgery.  Best decision of my life.

I am so glad to have the devil (the band) out of me.  I had to many issues.  It is a completely different world with RNY.

I have the old Lap band...and issues it has slipped and needs to come out.  I too am going the rny route. I would like to loose another 100 pounds.  Any advise?  I just got insurance approval.

i am also a band to RNY revision. I hated the band almost the first week. It was never a good idea for me.I am looking at a january date, which is weeks before my 40th birthday. I had hoped for a October/november surgery. I am near oneonta NY.I see your from Oneonta too.

 I was given the choice of a sleeve surgery instead of a band.

Im so glad I changed from everything I've read about the band. 

Surgery date scheduled for Feb. 8th. 

So excited and scared!
