Surgery went well!

I had the hernia repair yesterday. The doctor was able to do it through the scope. Praise God. It is through him that I am healed. I didn't have two little hernias. I had one very large one. The doctor said when he pulled the mesh out he said it was bigger than I was but he managed to get it in there. I had to spend the night but I am home today. I pushed myself today to walk. They said that would help me heal faster. I walked on a slow speed but walked 15 minutes on the treadmill today. I feel like I have done a million crunches. Hubby is being very helpful. I feel like I have a bit of a fever right now. Hope maybe I just did a little too much. I have not had a bowel movement since surgery but have taken some metamucil and some miralax. Hope things begin to move. Thanks for your prayers and best wishes. Danielle

Glad you're home an doing well. I hope that fever is just a little post surgery thing that a few lung exercises will fix. Keep us posted.

Glad to hear that things went well. Keep an eye on that fever and keep walking, because you are so right that you will heal so much faster if you keep moving early one. Best wishes!

Keeping prayers for a speedy recovery coming your way.
Dont forget deep breaths, liquids, and walking.
Keep an eye on that temp and would call the doc if it is elevated.
Glad you are home.
God is so good.
