Your school must start early.  Is everyone going to be surprised when you go back to work?

Day 3 of optifast.  So 4 optifast shakes, one optifast soup, and dinner which will be a small steak, swiss chard from the garden and a peach.
I would love any ideas on variety for the optifast.  I have the 2 soups, Chicken and tomato and Chocolate and vanilla shakes.  I've tried adding decaf instant coffee, crystal light straws, orange, strawberry and yesteday bought some rum and peppermint extracts.  I need to go to vitalady and order some syrups I think.
I'm not getting hungry, but bored.

Sorry, I can't help you with variety.  My meal plans are very boring with little variety.

I guess just look forward to variety at your dinner meal.

It is so much fun to get away, but I always look forward to getting back to my routine.  My DH and I travel alot with our DD's work and Igot away with eating extra carbs for about the first 1.5 years, but it finally caught up with me.  Now, I have to stay on track even when I'm away.

Even a few carbs can be dangerous because we think we can handle them, but it is actually our tool doing it's job, so when we start to absorb more then it's hard to get rid of the carb monster again.

I agree.  It's going to get harder and harder after the first year to learn how the tool has changed etc and what I can/can't handle.  It's such a learning experience, but I wouldn't change it and go back to the old me, I was out of control.  Funny thing is carbs wasn't even my thing, it was sugar!

Great menu.   Chicken thighs go down so much easier than breast meat.
