Sushi/Sashimi

Good or bad? I am thinking good because of the protein but I am totally not sure.
I do know that I had some sashimi (tuna to be exact) about a week ago, had 3 nice sized slices and was full for 7 hours!

So what is the verdict?

I can't bring myself to eat much of it but have tried it. I think the sashimi w/o the rice is WLS friendly.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

The sashimi is very high in protein - in fact, I was eating it 3 weeks out!  My Dr then said it was a good choice.

I eat the sushi with the rice too.  If you're sensitive to carbs, maybe not such a good idea...

Yes, very WLS friendly sans rice ;)

I also ate it early out, but being early out, some things just don't want to stay down.... Sadly, this was one of those things, now I can't hardly stand it. (Which kinda stinks!)

But since you aren't early out, sounds like 7hrs of fullness makes it pretty pouchworthy ;)
